Zdob şi Zdub returns to Eurovision for a 3rd time!
In the middle of last week, Moldova announced that they will choose their Eurovision 2022 representative with the national final. The participants and their songs that will compete in the national final have been announced.
Earlier today, the national final was cancelled citing an increase in COVID-19 cases in the country. An internal selection was made in line with the performances of the competitors.
Zdob şi Zdub, who represented Moldova twice in Eurovision, became the Eurovision 2022 representative with their song Trenuletul.
Last year, Natalia Gordienko represented Moldova in Eurovision 2021 and she placed thirteenth in the grand final.
