LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER will represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2026.

The BBC have confirmed that experimental singer/songwriter LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER will be representing the United Kingdom at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The song that he will bring to the contest will be revealed in the coming weeks on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER was chosen as the United Kingdom’s Eurovision 2026 representative via an extensive search led by U.K. Eurovision Project Director and Music Industry figure, David May, alongside Andrew Cartmell, Executive Producer, BBC Studios North and Head of Delegation for the United Kingdom.

“I find it completely bonkers to be jumping on this wonderful and wild journey. I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honour that I am taking very seriously. I’ve been working a long-time creating, writing, and producing my own visions from scratch, and documenting my process. I will be bringing every ounce of my creativity to my performances, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear and see what we’ve created. I hope Eurovision is ready to get synthesized!”

Who is LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER?

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER is the stage name for Sam Battle, who started out in the music industry in 2014 as the frontman for indie rock band ZIBRA, who eventually went on to perform at Glastonbury in 2015. Since then, Sam has forged out a career as a solo artist under the stage name LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER. As a soloist, he has performed at venues across the United Kingdom and Europe, and has released a handful of singles, EPs and albums.

In addition to his music career, Sam has also become very successful as a content creator. His YouTube channel has amassed over 85 million views since he began in 2016, and he has reached over 1.4 million combined subscribers and followers across his various social media accounts. He has also released his own video game, and earned a Guinness World Record for building the world’s largest drone synthesizer, among many other things.

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER follows on from Remember Monday as the United Kingdom’s Eurovision representative. Girl group Remember Monday brought “What The Hell Just Happened?” to the Eurovision 2025 stage in Basel Switzerland. After a promising start by getting a top 10 finish with the juries, the televote delivered the United Kingdom yet another 0 points, giving us a 19th place finish overall.
