It has been confirmed that Cyprus’ Eurovision 2024 participant, Silia Kapsis, will be singing the song “Liar” at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. The release date for the song has yet to be revealed.
The song has been written by Elke Tiel and Dimitris Kontopoulos, who has worked on many previous Eurovision entries, including “Shady Lady” (Ukraine 2008); “This Is Our Night” (Greece 2009) and “Sugar” (Moldova 2021), among many others.
Silia Kipsis was confirmed as Cyprus’ Eurovision 2024 representative back in September, after having been internally chosen by Cypriot broadcaster CyBC.
Vasiliki Silia Kapsis was born and raised in Sydney, Australia in December 2006, and is of Greek and Cypriot descent. She has been performing since the age of four.
