When Lords and Kings collide... Lord Of The Lost meet King Charles III.

Germany’s Eurovision 2023 representatives, Lord Of The Lost have officially met King Charles III and his wife, Camilla Queen Consort.

The royal couple, who are currently on a three day state visit to Germany, met the German rockstars at a British Embassy reception in Hamburg, at Shed 52, which saw 1,000 guests in attendance.

Following on from the state visit of King Charles III and Camilla Queen Consort, Lord Of The Lost went on to perform at the afterparty late in the afternoon.

Lord Of The Lost is a German industrial metal band from Hamburg made up of five members, that was formed in 2007 by Frontman, Chris Harms.

Aside from industrial metal, the band produces music in a variety of similar genres, from heavy metal and glam rock, to dark rock and even classical music.

Throughout their career, they have gained a lot of popularity and success in Germany, something that has not gone unoticed outside of Germany. In 2020, the band was noticed by Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, who asked them to support Iron Maiden on their European leg of the “Legacy of the Beast” world tour. This collaboration has been renwed for their 2023 “The Future Past” world tour.

Their most recent album, “Blood and Glitter” shot up to the number one spot on the German charts in December 2022, and one month later, were confirmed as one of the eight shortlisted acts for Unser Lied für Liverpool.

Lord Of The Lost will be bringing “Blood and Glitter” to the grand final of Eurovision 2023 on Saturday 13th May.
