How is the running order decided?

Once all of the songs that will be competing in the Eurovision 2024 semi finals have been released, the host country, Sweden this year, put together the running order for the semi finals, taking in to consideration the styles/genres of the songs, and each country’s staging plans, to try and create a show that flows well. These running orders are then approved by Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl

The semi finals of Eurovision 2024 will take place live on Tuesday May 7th and Thursday May 9th from 20:00 GMT / 21:00 CEST at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, with the grand final on Saturday 11th May.
