Time for fans to call their friends 17 or 18 other countries as the Semi Final Allocation Draw has taken place for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö!
The draw took place in Malmö and was hosted Pernilla Månsson Colt, who also oversaw the 2013 allocation draw, and Farah Abadi. The full draw is the following:

- Croatia
- Ireland
Second Half:

- Iceland
- Finland
- Portugal
- Luxembourg
- Australia
- Azerbaijan
- Moldova
Semi Final 2
First Half:

- Malta
- Switzerland
- Greece
- Czechia
- Albania
- Denmark
- Armenia
Second Half:
- Israel
- Estonia
- Georgia
- The Netherlands
- Norway

- San Marino
- Belgium
The five countries highlighted in bold have already selected their entries for Eurovision 2024.
The Big 5 and host country Sweden were also drawn into the semi final they will be allowed to vote in. Sweden, United Kingdom and Germany were drawn into Semi Final 1, while Spain, Italy and France will vote in Semi Final 2.
The draw also saw Steve Rotheram, Metro Mayor of Liverpool, representing last year’s Host City, passing on the Eurovision Insignia to the Mayor of Malmö, Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh, marking the official handing over to the new Eurovision Song Contest Host City.
The qualifiers from the semi finals will be decided by the public votes of the 15 or 16 countries competing in each respective show, as well as the automatic finalists allocated to each semi final and the Rest of The World vote. Semi Final 1 will take place on 7 May, while Semi Final 2 will be on 9 May.
