Tonight: four countries to chose their Eurovision 2024 representatives

Tonight sees four countries selecting their representatives for Eurovision 2024, with a further three semi finals taking place.

Tonight is the first Super Saturday of national final season 2024, with a total of six shows taking place. By the end of the evening, we will have four new Eurovision 2024 songs and artists, and semi final results from the remaining three countries.

Ukraine: Vidbir

The final of Vidbir takes place today in Kyiv from 18:00 to 21:45 EET, hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko, Julia Sanina and Vasyl Baidak. Eleven acts will be performing, and the final results will be decided by 50% televote and 50% jury vote. The jury members are Andrii Danylko (Verka Serduchka), Jamala and Sergii Tanchynets.

Norway: Melodi Grand Prix final

After three heats of Melodi Grand Prix 2024, the final is finally here, with a total of nine acts competing to be crowned Norway’s Eurovision 2024 representative. Marion Ravn and Fredrik Solvang are hosting the show live from Trondheim Spektrum between 19:50 and 21:50 CET. The final results will be determined by 60% televote and 40% jury vote. Lithuania: Eurovizija.LT heat 4

A further eight acts will be competing in heat four of Eurovizija.LT at LRT Studios in Vilnius. Gabrielė Martirosian Nombeko and Augustė Khotseng will be hosting the show, whilst Nerijus Trilikauskas will be the green room host. Two songs will qualify to the final as voted for by 50% televote and 50% jury vote. You can watch the show live frrom 21:00 to 22:45 EET on lrt.lt, or via the LRT app for Apple and Android.

Sweden: Melodifestivalen heat 1

Melodifestivalen 2024 kicks off tonight with heat 1, live from Eurovision 2024 host arena, Malmö Arena. Carina Berg will host the show that will see six acts competing. With 100% televoting, the top two acts will advance to the final, whilst the acts in third and fourth place will advance to the final qualification round. Supernova kicks off tonight in Latvia with semi final 1. The show will be broadcast live from 21:10 to 23:30 EET, and will be hosted by Lauris Reiniks and Ketija Šēnberga. 15 acts will be competing, with 10 advancing to the final via a mix of televote and jury vote. After four semi finals, Malta are finally ready to chose their Eurovision 2024 representative as the final of MESC 2024 will be taking place in Valetta tonight from 21:00 to 23:25 CET. 12 acts will be competing, with the winner being decided by 50% televote and 50% jury vote. Spain: Benidorm Fest final

Tonight, Spain will be chosing their Eurovision 2024 representative, and they have eight acts to chose from, who will all be performing in the final live from Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm. The show, hosted by Ruth Lorenzo and Marc Calderó (with Ana Prada as green room host) takes place from 22:00 to 23:55 CET. The results will be decided by 50% jury, 20% demoscopic jury and 25% televote. You can watch live on RTVE, and the official apps for Android and Apple.
