The finalists of Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s national final that determines the representative for the Eurovision Song Contest and is one of the most beloved national finals among Eurovision fans, have all been revealed!
With the fifth and final heat held tonight at the Löfbergs Arena in Karlstad, all the names competing in next week’s final show in Stockholm have been finalized. Following Marcus & Martinus, who finished second last year, the duo Medina was announced as the winners of the heat and secured their spot in the final show.
The final voting round will feature Annika Wickihalder and Jay Smith. Following the last voting round where participants who finished third and fourth in all heats, including Fröken Snusk, Gunilla Persson, and Scarlet, competed, Annika Wickihalder and Jay Smith earned their place in the final.
