The First Finalists Have Been Determined in the Melodi Grand Prix 2024!

The National Selection marathon continues in Norway! The first heat of Melodi Grand Prix, which will determine Norway’s representative for Eurovision 2024, took place tonight.

Six contestants, including Margaret Berger, who represented Norway in Eurovision in 2013, competed against each other. The lineup for the night was as follows:

  • Mathilde SPZ feat. Chris Archer and Slam Dunk – “Woman Show”
  • Fredrik Halland – “Stranded”
  • Myra – “Heart on Fire”
  • Gothminister – “We Come Alive”
  • Ingrid Jasmin – “Eya”
  • Margaret Berger – “Oblivion”

The three acts with the highest votes, Ingrid Jasmin, Margaret Berger, and Gothminister, earned the right to compete in the final show on February 3rd.

Last year, Alessandra represented Norway with the song “Queen of Kings.” Alessandra scored 268 points in the final, finishing in fifth place.
