Tonight’s winner was decided via a combined jury and televote sequence, which revealed that Teya Dora won tonight’s show and the honour of representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in May.

Tonight’s winning entry “Ramonda”, is a haunting and introspective song that delves into themes of loneliness, longing, and searching for guidance. The lyrics paint a picture of a narrator who feels lost and adrift, lacking peace, sleep, and direction in their life. The lila ramonda flower, known for its resilience and ability to bloom even in harsh conditions, represents hope and renewal amidst darkness and despair. The ending of the song offers a glimmer of hope and transformation, as Teya sings about the lila ramonda rising from the ashes.

At last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, Serbia was represented by Luke Black with his song “Samo mi se spava”. Serbia finished with 30 points in the Grand final in 24th place. Teya will be hoping to build on Serbia’s result at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest this May in Malmö.
