The Swiss broadcaster announces Veronica Fusaro will represent them in Vienna.

The Swiss broadcaster has confirmed that Veronica Fusaro will represent Switzerland at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Austria. Her song will be released on Wednesday 11th March.

“I am extremely happy and honoured to represent Switzerland at Eurovision. It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share my music on a beautiful stage like that, with people from all over watching.”

Veronica and her song were chosen to represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2026 out of 493 submitted songs. The selection process consisted of an international public vote and an expert jury vote, with the final decision being determined via 50/50 public and jury vote.

Veronica is currently working with creative director Fredrik “Benke” Rydman on the visual and artistic direction of her performance. Rydman has previously directed the Eurovision performances for Måns Zelmerlöw (Sweden 2015); Käärijä (Finland 2023) and Nemo (Switzerland 2024).

Who is Veronica Fusaro?

Veronica Fusaro hails from the city of Thun in Switzerland. Back in 2016, Fusaro was named ‘Best Talent’ by Swiss national radio SRF 3, and since then, her career has gone from strength to strength. She has gone on to play over 500 concerts both in Switzerland and abroad, including Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival and Gurtenfestival among others.

Fusaro released her debut album in 2023, titled “All The Colours Of The Sky”, which debuted at number five on the Swiss charts. Her second album “Looking For Connection” was released just a few months ago in October 2025.

Following on from Nemo achieving Switzerland’s third Eurovision win in 2024, Zoë Më represented her country on home soil in Basel with “Voyage”. With a second place jury finish and a last place televote finish, Zoë ended the night in 10th place.
