Bzikebi confirmed as Georgia's Eurovision 2026 representatives.

The Georgian broadcaster has confirmed that the group Bzikebi will be representing Georgia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna this May. The song that they will be bringing to the contest will be revealed at a later date.

Bzikebi are a Georgian trio made up of Giorgi Shiolashvili, Mariam Kikuashvili and Mariam Tatulashvili. They won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Limassol Cyprus, with their song “Bzz”, a song sung in an entirely made up language. Following on from their win, they went on to release their debut album Zabuzei.

More recently, we saw Bzikebi perform at the opening ceremony, and as part of the interval act, of Junior Eurovision 2022 in Yerevan, Armenia. Last year, the group re-united once again and performed their newest single “We Don’t Sleep” at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi Georgia, as one of the interval acts.

Bzikebi’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest for Georgia will mark the second time a Georgian Junior Eurovision representative has gone to Eurovision. In 2023, Iru, who was a member of the group Candy that gave Georgia their second Junior Eurovision win in 2011, represented the country at that years contest in Liverpool with her song “Echo”.

Are you excited to see Bzikebi representing Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest? What type of song do you think we will see from them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
