The road to Eurovision 2025 is heating up in Latvia as Supernova 2025, the country’s national selection, has determined its 10 finalists. Following an exciting semi-final round featuring 19 competing acts (after Grēta’s withdrawl), only half of the contestants have qualified to the grand final. Next week, they will compete again, for the chance to represent Latvia in Basel for the Eurovision 2025.

Artists have impressed both the jury and the public with their performances, securing a place in the final round. Notably, the competition featured former Eurovision artists, bringing added excitement and anticipation among fans.

Who Missed Out?
Unfortunately, this means that nine acts have been eliminated from the competition. While their journey ends here, their performances contributed to an exciting show and showcased the depth of Latvia’s musical talent.
The Supernova 2025 Grand Final is set to take place on February 8, where the remaining 10 acts will compete for the coveted ticket to Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland. The winner will be determined through a combination of jury and public votes, ensuring that Latvia sends its best possible entry to the international stage.
