Submissions deadline for Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 extended to November 10th.

The Serbian broadcaster has confirmed that the deadline for submitting entries for the 2025 edition of Pesma za Evroviziju has been extended until November 10th, 2024. Initially, the deadline was set for November 1st. The broadcaster has not given any reason for extending the deadline, but it now marks the second year in a row that they have extended the deadline for the national final.

Once the submissions window has closed, the Selection Committee of RTS will assess every song based soley on their artistic quality, and will decide which songs will compete in Pesma za Evroviziju 2025. If none of the submissions meet the required musical and artistic quality, RTS holds the right to internally select Serbia’s Eurovision 2025 entry.

Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 will take place between February 25th to March 1st, and will be comprised of two semi finals on February 25th and 27th, and one final on March 1st. A mix of 50% televote and 50% jury vote will decide the results, and will decide who will become Serbia’s Eurovision 2025 represenative.

Teya Dora won Pesma za Evroviziju 2024 with her song “Ramonda” and went on to represent Serbia at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. She qualified to the final where she finished in 17th place with 54 points.
