The Eesti Laul 2025 lineup grows: seven more acts announced!
After yesterday’s announcement, the Estonian TV show “Ringvaade” called Eurovision 2014 representative Tatjana Mihhailova-Saar (Tanja) to reveal the next seven Eesti Laul 2025 acts.
She was part of the National Final’s selection jury, together with other beloved past Estonian Eurovision acts like Alika, Kohver (5Miinust) and Jüri Pootsmann.
The following acts have been announced:
- Minimal Wind – “Armageddon”
- andrei zevakin feat. Karita – “Ma ei tea sind” (I don’t know you)
- Gem98 – “Psycho”
- Frants Tikerpuu – “Trouble”
- Janek – “Frozen”
- Joelle – “Eyes Don’t Lie”
- Tommy Cash – “Espresso Macchiato”
The new seven acts will join the previously announced eight:
- Kaisa Lang feat. Räpina Jack – “Tule” (Come)
- Tuuli Rand – “Rem”
- ANT – “Tomorrow Never Changes”
- FELIN – “Solo Anthem”
- Anna Sahlene – “Love Me Low”
- Stereo Terror – “Prty Till the End of the World”
- An-Marlen – “Külm” (Cold)
- Elysa – “The Last to Know”
The list features a mixture of new exciting prospects and past Eesti Laul participants.
Minimal Wind have already taken part in Eesti Laul 2022, where they qualified for the final.
Rumors of Tommy Cash participating surfaced earlier in the year, when he teased his attempt at an Eesti Laul run during multiple concerts. The song names Johannes Naukkarinen as a writer. He has previously worked with Käärijä for his songs “Cha Cha Cha”, “Ruoska” feat. Erika Vikman, and “Trafik” feat. Joost Klein.
Eesti Laul 2025
The next edition of Eesti Laul will take place in the Unibet Arena in Tallinn, Estonia on February 15th. The competition will be moving away from a semifinal, and will now consist of only one night where 16 acts will compete. The 16th and final act will be selected through a public vote and revealed in January.
5Miinust and Puuluup represented Estonia with “(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi” in 2024, placing 20th with 37 points. The country is currently on a three year qualification streak.
