The first eight acts participating in Eesti Laul 2025 have been revealed!
As the tradition goes, the Estonian TV show “Ringvaade” has revealed the first batch of acts participating in the next edition of Eesti Laul, the yearly competition that elects the country’s Eurovision representative.
The jury selecting the competing songs include people from a multitude of media and music-related fields in Estonia, including some beloved past Estonian Eurovision acts like Alika, Kohver (5Miinust) and Jüri Pootsmann.
The following acts have been announced:
- Kaisa Lang feat. Räpina Jack – “Tule” (Come)
- Tuuli Rand – “Rem”
- ANT – “Tomorrow Never Changes”
- FELIN – “Solo Anthem”
- Anna Sahlene – “Love Me Low”
- Stereo Terror – “Prty Till the End of the World”
- An-Marlen – “Külm” (Cold)
- Elysa – “The Last to Know”
The list features both new and old names in the Eesti Laul archives:
Anna Sahlene has already represented Estonia during Eurovision 2002, in Tallinn, Estonia, singing “Runaway”. She also had another Eesti Laul attempt with “Champion” in 2022.
Elysa isn’t a new name for the Estonian National Final either, having participated twice with “Fire” in 2022, and “Bad Philosophy” in 2023.
Tuuli Rand names Cecilia among the song’s writers, who has participated in Eesti Laul 2024 with “FOMO”.
