Serbia to use ‘Pesma Evrovizije 2024’ to select Eurovision 2024 representative

The Serbian broadcaster has confirmed they will be using a national final to find their Eurovision 2024 representative.

Serbian broadcaster RTS have confirmed their participation for Eurovision 2024, and have also confirmed that they will be using the national final Pesma Evrovizije to find their representative.

The submissions window is already open, and will remain open until November 1st, 2023. All songs can be submitted here.

Once the submissions window has closed, a jury panel made up of music editors at RTS will evaluate each submission, and will chose which entries will advance to the live show based solely on their artistic quality.

If no composition meets the required musical quality, RTS reserves the right to independently chose Serbia’s Eurovision entry themselves.

The final results of Pesma Evrovizije, and Serbia’s Eurovision 2024 representative, will be determined by 50% jury vote and 50% televote.

Ahead of Eurovision 2023, Serbia held Pesma za Evrovizije ’23 to find their representative for this years contest in Liverpool. After two semi finals and one final, Luke Black just narrowly beat off Princ and Nađa by two points, to become Serbia’s Eurovision 2023 representative.

Luke Black qualified from semi final one with “Samo mi se spava” and finished in 24th place with 30 points in the final.
