AVROTROS has just revelead that S10 will represent The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin and that she will sing in Dutch.
Who is S10?
S10 is the artistic name of Stien den Hollander, a young artist internally selected to represent The Netherlands. The 21-year-old singer shares her personal stories through the music, rap and spoken word, and because the stories are her own, it’s important for the language to be in Dutch.
The Netherlands participated for the first time in 1956, and has 5 victories (1957, 1959, 1969, 1975 and 2019). The Netherlands was represented last year by Jeangu Macrooy, with the song “Birth of a new age”, placing 23rd with only 11 points by the jury vote and zero points by the public.
