The notoriously quirky Lithuanian national final Pabandom iš Naujo! kicked off tonight with the first heat of acts, and it was certainly impressive! The heat was pre-recorded on the 4th of January and aired tonight, with it also being the first time we heard the songs publicly.
The opening heat of Pabandom iš Naujo! 2022 was hosted by Giedrius Masalskis, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Richardas Jonaitis.
6 of the 11 competing acts from tonight’s heat qualified to the semi finals, due to be held on 29th January and 5th February.

The jury winner was Erica Jennings, whilst the televote winner was Urte Silagalyte.
