Earlier tonight, ARVOTROS revealed the song that Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper will perform in Liverpool in May.
Last autumn, the song was described to be so impressive that the selection committee chose it unanimously.
Written by the duo, along with the 2019 Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence and songwriter Jordan Garfield, the song is an introspective and emotional ballad in English.
This is the first song of the duo together. Both of them are emerging artists: Mia Nicolai debuted in 2020 with her first single, “Set Me Free“, while Dion Cooper released his first EP “TooYoung Too Dumb“, the following year.
Netherlands at Eurovision
The Netherlands is a long-standing participant in Eurovision, taking part to the contest since its first edition in 1957.
Since then, it has won 5 times, with the last one being in 2019, when Duncan Laurence brought the trophy home on the notes of “Arcade“.
Last year, Dutch singer S10 ended in 11th place with “De Diepte“
