The twelve finalists for the Maltese national final “MESC 2024” have been selected.This year 36 artists compete for the ticket that flies them to Malmö in May to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. There were four Semi-Finals from October 27th – November 17th. 12 Acts were selected by a jury along with the Maltese public, to perform in the final of MESC 2024.
The final will be in January, but the exact date of the final remains unknown. We know that there will be no live performances that night. Each finalist will record a live-on-tape performance of their song, which will be viewed by a professional jury and the Maltese public, they will each vote (50%/50%) for their favorites and choose the representative for Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024
Malta kicked off this year’s national final season, but is not the first country to select their song, France already selected their song ‘Mon Amour’ and Albania and maybe Czechia will choose in December. The Eurovision fervor is building, and we are curious to see your favorites for this year’s MESC!
