The story of Måneskin
Måneskin consists of singer Damiano David, bass guitarist Victoria Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. The band was a contester on the Italian X-factor back in 2017, where they got their first recognition. The band ended up as first runner up in the 11th season that year.
Last year, they entered the Italian National Final of Sanremo. After winning the contest they received their spot on The Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Here they were one of the favorites in the polls, and they turned out being right! Måneskin took home the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and showed us that “Rock & Roll will never die!”.
After their Eurovsion win the band got their International breakthrough through TikTok. Since then they have appeared on multiple TV shows, recorded a song with rock legend Iggy Pop and performed on stages and festivals like Coachella.
Måneskin currently has over 4 billion streams to their name across all platforms, and has received 10 diamond, 185 platinum and 42 gold records globally. Not too shabby!
