THE WAIT IS OVER: MÅNESKIN'S NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE' OUT NOW!
Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin have just dropped a new music video for their single ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’, and everyone is freaking out!
In a recent interview for OE24.TV, singer Damiano David revealed that the upcoming video would feature some “strong images”. The video portrays the band members engaging in different instances of BDSM and power-role-play, as suggested by the title and the lyrics of the song.

The band explained the meaning of the song with an Instagram post dating back to March 14: “Sex, in all its forms and from every angle, the antinomy that lives in all of us and makes us human, imperfect, sinful, and in need of redemption.”
The release of the video clip was announced on the band’s Instagram account on July 5. In the following days, Måneskin teased their fans with a little sneak peek of the looks that were chosen for the video – including Damiano David’s brand-new haircut, which sparked much enthusiasm among the fanbase.
Yet another record-breaking result
Two months after their victory in Rotterdam with the song ‘Zitti e buoni’, the web is still obsessing over Måneskin. Since then, the Italian quartet has reached some important milestones, managing to enter the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart with two different songs, and achieving certified platinum certification in several European countries. As of today, they are the 23rd most streamed artist in the world, with over 43 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Interestingly enough, the success of ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’ has recently been overshadowed by a cover of the song ‘Begging’ that the band recorded in 2017 for the Italian X Factor. Måneskin’s rendition of this timeless hit by The Four Seasons has blown up on Tik Tok, reaching No. 5 position on the Billboard Global 200 Chart and No. 1 position on the Spotify Global Chart, and bringing the band to score yet another record-breaking result.
Future plans
Following an intense promotional tour across Europe, this year’s Eurovision winners have announced that they are ready to start recording their new album ‘Teatro d’Ira – Vol. II’, which is expected to come out by the end of 2021.
