Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 runner-up Aidan has released his debut album, "This Is Aidan".
Maltese singer-songwriter Aidan has released his debut album, “This Is Aidan”, a 10-track album which contains six brand new tracks alongside some of his biggest hits, including “Naħseb Fik”, “Ritmu” and “Reġina”.
Also on the album is “Blu”, which was Aidan’s second option for Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and “RIP”, a collaboration with Maltese icon and two times Eurovision participant, Ira Losco.
All of the tracks on the album have been written by Aidan himself, and have been produced by North Macedonian producer Boban Apostolov (naBBoo).
All of the songs included on “This Is Aidan” are on Spotify and all other major streaming platforms, as well as on YouTube, with each song having either an official music video or a lyric video.
The next song that Aidan will release from his debut album is “Pupa”, a house track sung in English and Maltese.
Aidan’s debut album has been a long time coming, and he couldn’t be more happier to announce the release of “This Is Aidan”.
“Having your own album is a dream for every artist. I worked very hard the past 6 years and with the help of my amazing team, I can say my debut album is finally out! A lot of hard work was put into the 10 songs. Some of the new songs were considered to be submitted to the Malta Eurovision instead of Reġina and I hope the music fans in Malta and Europe will enjoy them.”
Aidan made his music debut in 2018, when he participated in MESC with his self penned track ‘Dai Laga’, finishing in 4th place. He returned in 2022 with his pop hit “Ritmu” which finished in second place behind Emma Muscat. In 2023, he originally participated in MESC with ‘Reġina’ before being disqualified for breaching the rules.
