Lithuania kicked off the search for their Eurovision 2024 representative with the first heat of Evrovizija.LT.
Eight acts took the stage at LRT Studios in Vilnius for the first of five heats for the country’s brand new national final, Eurovizija.LT. The final results were determined by 50% jury vote and 50% televote, with the top two acts advancing to the final.
- Silvester Belt – “Luktelk” – 12 + 10 = 22 (jury + televote)
- VB Gang – “Kaboom!!!” – 10 + 12 = 22
- Luka Kuraitė – “Move On” – 7 + 8 = 15
- Clockwork Creep – “Empty” – 8 + 6 = 14
- Marius Petraukas – “Kol laiko yra” – 6 + 7 = 13
- Antoine Wend – “Say No More” – 5 + 5 = 10
- Aistay – “You” – 4 + 4 = 8
- Živilė Gedvilaitė – “Save Me” – 3 + 3 = 6
The show was hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian and Nombeko Augustė Khotseng, whilst TikTok star Nerijus Trilikauskas was the green room host.
The jury panel was made up of Lithuanian Eurovision commentator, Ramūnas Zilnys, LRT Opus Director Darius Užkuraitis, songwriter and composer Vytautas Bikus, performer Ieva Narkutė and Eurovision 2022 representive Monika Liu.
Next week (Saturday 20th January) will see a further eight acts competing in heat two of Eurovizija.LT, which will see a further two acts advancing to the final on February 17th.
