Laura Thorn wins Luxembourg Song Contest 2025
Tonight, Luxembourg Song Contest took place with seven finalists taking to stage at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette. Hosted by Raoul Roos & Loïc Juchem, tonight’s national final saw each and every artist sing their hearts out with hope of flying the flag for Luxembourg in Basel this May, but there could only be one winner.
Tonight’s performers sang in the following running order:

Following all the performances, the voting sequence commenced with 50% of the vote being casted by an international jury, and the remaining 50% being determined by a public vote. It was eventually revealed that Laura Thorn earned the highest score (184 points) and is now the winner of Luxembourg Song Contest 2025. Laura Thorn will now go on to represent Luxembourg at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland taking place on the 13th, 15th, & 17th May 2025.
Laura Thorn was presented the LSC 2025 trophy following the thrilling results sequence. RTL also announced prior to tonight that the trophy for this year’s contest was designed by acclaimed Luxembourgish glassblower Pascale Seil; who won a design contest for the trophy.
Luxembourg returned to the contest for the first time in 31 years in 2024. Tali represented Luxembourg in Malmö, with the song “Fighter”. In the Grand Final, “Fighter” received 103 points: 83 from the national juries, and 20 from the televoters. Tali Golerant was also a guest performer at tonight’s national final during the interval. She performed her Eurovision entry “Fighter” as well as her new single “Dear Parents”.
