Armenian broadcaster AMPTV have announced that Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan and Karina Ignatyan will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Yerevan
The trio were revealed via a video on the official Junior Eurovision Song Contest youtube channel.
All three hosts have connections to Eurovision.
Many will remember Iveta Mukuchyan, who represented Armenia in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 7th with her song “LoveWave“.
While he never performed at Eurovision or Junior Eurovision, Garik Papoyan did write Armenia’s 2014 Eurovision entry “Not Alone” performed by Aram MP3. The entry is currently the joint most successful Armenian entry in the adult contest; finishing 4th. The actor, writer and comedian also revealed Armenia’s jury points at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.
Finally, Karina Ignatyan represented Armenia at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 9th with her song “Colours Of Your Dreams“.
The 20th Junior Eurovision Contest will place on the 11th December, with 16 countries competing to be victorious in Yerevan.
