Israel confirms Eurovision 2022 participation

Although Eurovision 2021 is in almost two months time, Kan (Israeli public broadcaster) has announced, that the country will be represented in Eurovision 2022. On the 19th of March, Germany also confirmed its participation too.

Israel began a seek for a company which will be responsible for choosing their entry, which we are going to hear in 2022. Since 2015, the singers for Eurovision have been chosen in “HaKokhav HaBa”, an Israeli talent show. In 2021, Eden Alene was chosen internally, because she had won the competition in 2020. She was going to represent her country that year, however the contest was cancelled, because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021 she is going to perform her song “Set Me Free.
