It has been confirmed that a five member international jury panel will be overseeing the auditions for the Luxembourg Song Contest, and will decide which acts will go on to compete in the contest next year. At the 2023 contest in Liverpool, Luxembourg announced their return to Eurovision in 2024, which would mark their first participation since 1993. In the following months, they confirmed they would be holding a national final to select their entry, and thus the Luxembourg Song Contest was born. This years edition was won by TALI and her song “Fighter”.
Luxembourg qualified from the semi final for the first time in their Eurovision history as TALI and “Fighter” finished top 5 in semi final one and 13th place overall in the final with 117 points, their best Eurovision result since 1986.
