Estonian superstar Tanel Padar has released his latest single, Varjudes, which translates into English as In The Shadows. This is Padar’s first release since his single Sinu Aeg in 2020, which he performed as part of the interval act during Eesti Laul 2020.
Tanel Padar steps back into his rock’n’roll shoes with his newest track, and it’s definitely safe to say this style suits him…a lot! This is what Tanel had to say about going back to his roots in rock music.
In the interview with ERR, Padar also explained that he appreciates playing live and his fans more than ever amid the pandemic that has halted live concerts and gigging accross the globe.
Who is Tanel Padar?
Tanel Padar is an Estonian singer and songwriter from Uhtna, Estonia. He is best known internationally for winning the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest for Estonia alongside Dave Benton and 2XL with the song Everybody.
Padar also fronts one of the most popular rock bands in Estonia, Tanel Padar & The Sun, who were formed in 2003. Alongside this, he has a very successful solo career in Estonia.
