Greta Salóme has represented Iceland two times in Eurovision. In 2012, she competed in Söngvakeppnin, the Icelandic national final, and won it along with Jónsi. Her song “Never Forget” travelled to Baku and placed 20th with 46 points. In 2016, she won again the national final, this time solo. Her song “Here them calling” failed to qualify for the final.
Her debut album was released in 2012. Since then, she has released a number of singles, many of which entered the Icelandic charts.
Now, she is a singer and violinist in Iceland’s Symphony Orchestra.
