Former Eurovision artists among the line-up for Supernova 2025

LTV reveal the 20 acts competing in Supernova 2025.

The Latvian broadcaster has revealed the names of the 20 acts that will be competing in the 2025 edition of Supernova, and there are some familiar names among the line-up. The participants were revealed early this morning on television show Rīta Panorāmā on LTV1. The broadcaster also revealed the song titles and snippets of each song on LTV Supernova’s official Instagram page.

  • Emilija – “Heartbeat”
  • Grēta Grantiņa – “Monster”
  • Julianna – “Something In The Water”
  • Justs – “Fit Right”
  • Katrīna Gupalo – “Scarlett Challenger”
  • KoBra – “Zelts”
  • LEGZDINA un “Bel Tempo” – “The Water”
  • LUKA – “Stronger”
  • Markus Riva – “Bigger Than This”
  • Marta – “Lovable”
  • PALÚ – “Delusional”
  • Rūta Dūduma – “Chemical”
  • Sinerģija – “Bound By The Light”
  • Tautumeitas – “Bur man laimi”
  • Tepat – “Sadzejot”
  • The Ludvig – “Līgo”
  • Toms Kalderauskis – “Domāju, tu nāc”

Among the 20 acts for Supernova 2025 we see former Eurovision participants Justs and Citi zēni, who represented Latvia in Eurovision 2016 and 2022 respectively. We also see Supernova veteran Markus Riva back in the competition for a tenth time.

Supernova 2025 will be comprised of one semi final and one final. The semi final will take place on February 1st, and the final a week later on February 8th. The final results of both shows will be determined by 50% jury vote and 50% televote.

Supernova 2024 winner Dons and his song “Hollow” went on to bring Latvia back to the Eurovision final for the first time since 2016. He finished in 7th place in semi final 2 and 16th place in the final. Will the winner of Supernova 2025 be able to make it two qualifications in a row for Latvia?
