The Söngvakeppnin 2025 final line-up is taking shape as first three qualifiers confirmed.
Iceland kicked off the search for their Eurovision 2025 representative tonight with semi final one of Söngvakeppnin 2025.
The show was hosted by Benedikt Valsson, Guðrún Dís Emilsdóttir and Fannar Sveinsson live from RVK Studios in Reykjavík. A total of five artists were competing, with 100% televoting determining the top three acts that would be qualifying to the final.
- Stebbi JAK – “Frelsið Mitt” – QUALIFIED
- BIRGO – “Ég flýg í storminn”
- Ágúst – “Eins og þú” – QUALIFIED
- BIA – “Norðurljós”
- VÆB – “RÓA” – QUALIFIED
A further five acts will be competing in semi final two of Söngvakeppnin 2025 next week on February 15th, where the final three finalists will be determined. The final will take place on February 22nd.
