Final line-up and running order revealed for Selecţia Naţională 2023

TVR have revealed the finalists and running order for the Selecţia Naţională 2023 final.

In a draw held today in Bucharest, The Romanian broadcaster has revealed the complete line-up and running order of the 12 songs that will be competing in the Selecţia Naţională 2023 final.

The running order was determined by a random draw, with the help of Mişu Predescu, Head of Delegation for Eurovision 2023, and an urn filled with 36 numbers. Each act was assigned a number. The lowest number was chosen to open the show and the highest number was chosen to close the show.

The song “Statues” was submitted to the broadcaster without a singer, so it was decided the song will be awarded to Andrei Duţu, who will perform it in fifth place.

  8. Aledaida – “Bla Bla Bla”
  9. Adriana Moraru – “Faralaes”
  10. Maryliss – “Hai Vino” (Come on)
  11. JaxMan (Erin Dăneţ) – “Bad & Cool”
  12. Andreea D Folclor Orchestra – “Periniţa mea” (My little girl)

The final of Selecția Națională 2023 will take place on February 11th at the Romanian Television Studios in Bucharest. The show will be available to watch live on television and online. 

As was confirmed in November 2022, the winner of Selecţia Naţională 2023 will be decided by 100% televote for the first time in history, and no jury vote will be used in the final.
