The last five finalists of the Festival da Canção are finally chosen! Syro, Pepperoni Passion, Milhanas, Inês Homem de Melo and Pongo e Tristani will perform in the final of the Festival da Canção, on March 12, next Saturday. Azeitonas, Blacci, Vampiro Submarino, Jonas and Cubita, were left behind. What a great show they all gave us tonight!
The second semifinal of the 2022 edition took place today, Monday, at RTP studios in Lisbon. The event was conducted by José Carlos Malato and Tânia Ribas de Oliveira.
The winners were revealed in random order. As in previous years, the voting will only be revealed after the final, on the Festival da Canção website, following the Eurovision model.
The voting followed the usual scheme 50/50, with the weight of the votes to be shared between the public and the jury, which this year consists of Dulce Pontes, Dino D’Santiago, Surma, Teresa Salgueiro, Pedro Granger, Miguel Cadete and Tatanka, winning composer of the previous edition.
