Petunija & Noy have qualified to Lithuania's Grand Final
Tonight saw the second heat of Lithuania’s well-known national final for Eurovision, ‘Eurovizija.LT’, where eight artists performed with hopes of advancing to the next round of the national final process.
Hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian and Nombeko Augustė Khotseng, with Rimvydas Černiauskas in the green room who presented the show from start to finish. Sadly one contender, Austėja Lukaitė, who was scheduled to compete had to withdraw due to illness. This left a total of eight acts all hoping to advance to the grand final on February 15th.
The results of the second heat of Eurovizija.LT were as follows:
Petunija – Į saldumą – 12 points
Noy – Just Take Me on a Date – 10 points
Jokūbas Jankauskas – Far Away – 8 points
Vilija – Liesti negalima – 7 points
Halummi – The Flame – 6 points
Freya Alley – Lalala – 5 points
Káro – Love Bug – 4 points
Tomas Dirgėla – Pašok – 3 points
This result confirmed that both Petunija & Noy earned the highest points, and will therefore advance to the final of Eurovizija.LT. This of course is the second of six shows which will determine the artist & song that will go onto represent Lithuania in Basel for Eurovision 2025.
In the first heat of Lithuania’s nation final, Anyanya & Justė Baradulinaitė earned the two top spots, meaning they will go on to join tonight’s two qualifiers with hopes of making the biggest impact in the grand final taking place on February 15th, where there can only be one winner.
At last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Lithuania was represented by Silvester Belt with his song “Luktelk”, which placed fourteenth out of the 25 performing countries, scoring a total of 90 points overall.
