Eesti Laul 2022 Quarter final 1 participants revealed!

On tonight’s episode of the Estonian talkshow ‘Ringvaade’ the first 10 participants of Eesti Laul, the Estonian National final were announced by Tanel Padar and Eda-Ines Etti, who will host the show on Saturday.

  •  Jaagup Tuisk- Kui Vaid
  • Boamadu- Mitte kauaks
  •  Evelin Samuel- Waterfall
  • Fiona and me- Feel like This
  • Kéa- Everytime
  • Little Mess- Hea Paëv
  • Maian- Meeletu
  • Peter Põder- Koos Lõpuni
  • Stig- Interstellar
  • Traffic- Kaua Veel

The music videos of these 10 songs will be shown in Saturday’s show, of which 5 will be selected by a jury and the public to advance to the live semi-finals in February. At the beginning of every ERR will announce the 10 acts participating in that week’s quarter final, however we will only hear the songs for the first time during the show.

Estonia at Eurovision

Estonia has made 25 appearances at the Eurovision Song Contest since making its debut in 1994.    Estonia intended to debut in the 1993 contest, however, they failed to make it to the final. In 2001 Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL won the contest with the song Everybody, which brought the contest to Tallin in 2002, where Estonia ended 3rd. Estonia’s Most notable entries include: Leto Svet (2008) Rändajad (2009) and La Forza (2018)
