Fyr & Flamme bring comedic charm into their reaction video
Reaction videos are quite prevalent in the Eurovision community. Us at Eurovoxx do our fair share of reactions to Eurovision songs as well. Now, Denmark’s entry Fyr & Flamme have now done their own spin of a reaction video by reacting to their own video.
The Danish duo, real names Jesper and Laurits, have donned alter egos for this video. They have called themselves Carsten and Jukka, who are apparently from Germany and Finland respectively. In the video, as traditional with reaction videos, they are sat in front of the screen and provide reactional commentary as they watch along.

Denmark in Eurovision
After making its first appearance in the 1957 Eurovision Song Contest, Denmark went on to participate 48 times. Denmark has won the contest 3 times, first in 1964 with Danevise, then in 2000 with the Olsen Brothers’ Fly On The Wings Of Love, and the latest win in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest’s Only Teardrops. Denmark hosted the contest in 1964, 2001 and 2014. In 2020, Ben and Tan were selected to represent Denmark with the song Yes prior to cancellation.
This year, Fyr & Flamme will be representing the country with Øve os på hinanden. They will be performing in the 2nd semi final on May 20th and are set to close the show.
