We ain't lying, we have another Eurovision 2024 entry!
Silia Kapsis has released her Eurovision 2024 entry “Liar“, which will represent Cyprus in Malmö.
Cypriot broadcaster CyBC initially released the music video on rik.cy, with “Liar” premiering on the official Eurovision YouTube channel an hour later.

Cyprus at Eurovision
Cyprus debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981, finishing 6th with Island and their song “Monika“. They are yet to record their first victory at the contest, but they do have 10 top 10 finishes. Their best result came in 2018 with Eleni Foureira and her song “Fuego” finishing in 2nd place.
Since the introduction of semi finals in 2004, Cyprus have qualified 11 out of 18 times. After failing to reach the final in 2022, they bounced back the following year with Andrew Lambrou finishing in 12th place with his song “Break a Broken Heart“.
Both Lambrou and Kapsis are both originally from Australia, so Cyprus will be hoping that’s a sign they will going back to the final in Malmö and not down under in the semis (Australia go vote in Cyprus’ semi final as well).
