Eurovision France: C’est Vous qui décidez! 2022 hosts have been announced

According to Eurovision-fr, Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini will once again be the hosts of the French National Final for Eurovision, C’est Vous qui décidez! 

Laurence Boccolini confirmed last monday, July 26, that she and Stéphane Bern will return for the next edition of the show, at the beginning of 2022. She also confirmed her return for the commentary of the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022.

 

Stéphane Bern is a television host, who joined France television in 2006. He began is Eurovision journey in 2010 when he commented the Eurovision final for the first time. After 2015, he worked as commentator once again, and as a host of the national final in 2021. 

 

Laurence Boccolini is a radio and television host known for her work on game shows. She then joined Stéphane in 2021 as commentator of Eurovision live shows. 

The pair first worked together at this years renewal edition of Eurovision France: C’est Vous qui décidez! with Barbara Pravi as the Winner.

After this years success with their latest entry finishing in second place, the French broadcaster decided to return with the same formula, set to a 2022 return. The songs submissions is now open until October 22, where artists can submit their songs. 

In 2021, the first phase consisted of a physical audition. Then they choose which acts went to the national final. 

No further details are known about the selection method for the next year, or the voting system.
