Bjarne will represent Germany this November in Madrid

It has officially been revealed that Germany will be represented at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest by Bjarne with his song “Save the Best for Us”. The German broadcaster ran a National selection procedure to decide who would win the ticket to perform live in Madrid this November.

Five participants took part in the selection process, and were therefore ultimately in the running to represent their country at Junior Eurovision 2024. Taking place on June 21st & using one-minute long samples of each artist’s songs, the voting commenced with 50% of the vote being determined by an international jury, and the remaining 50% of the vote being decided by the public.

When all of the voting results had been received it was soon revealed that Bjarne had won both the Jury & Televote points, claiming the honour of representing Germany at Junior Eurovision 2024. Bjarne has always had a passion for singing & music at home, and he looks forward to the incredible opportunity he has before him.

Throughout the last few years, Bjarne has received musical instruments for his birthday along with lessons to teach him how to play them. Bjarne’s song “Save the Best for Us” encourages listeners to experience the world for themselves and not just through a digital lens. The song also encourages people to stand up for environmental protection, a positive message that Bjarne hopes will earn him votes this November in Madrid.

All will be revealed later this year as to how Bjarne will stage his performance on the Junior Eurovision stage. This year’s contest will take place in Spain’s capital, Madrid on Saturday November 16th at 18:00 CET.
