Mustii will represent Belgium at Eurovision 2024.
Singer, songwriter, actor and composer, Thomas Mustin, aka Mustii, has been internally selected by RTBF to represent Belgium in Eurovision 2024.
Speaking to RTBF, Mustii explains how he has been feeling since he was asked to represent Belgium in Eurovision 2024.
“It’s something surreal for me but at the same time, it’s a challenge that I want to put myself in… My first reaction was silence! A valve, a bubble of air because you first have to take in the news. And then there’s everything that follows, everything that goes through your head… It’s a huge scene, it makes you want to go to the coals as they say, so I can’t wait!”
Mustii goes on to say that he feels a mix of both stress and excitement, and that in the midst of it all, he just wants to make an impression with his Eurovision participation:
“I feel a mix of both but above all I want to experience new things and unusual experiences. That’s my motivation above all! And yes obviously, being in front of millions of viewers doesn’t happen often in a lifetime, but you have to take the challenge head-on. That’s my goal. My goal is to make an impression whatever happens. Above all, I want the performance to be fair, sincere and authentic. I also want to feel good about myself and proud of my performance. That’s what it’s all about. primary objective.”
