Bambie Thug wins Ireland's national selection Eurosong 2024

A wide variety of talent was on show on tonight’s edition of ‘The Late Late Show’ in Ireland live on RTÉ  where the country’s national final took place to determine who will represent the country at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden. 

The following six artists performed on tonight’s show all hoping to fly the flag for Ireland:

  • Isabella Kearney – Let Me Be The Fire

  • Bambie Thug – Doomsday Blues

  • JyellowL (AKA Jean-Luc Uddoh) – Judas

  • Next in Line – Love Like Us

  • AILSHA – Go Tobann

  • Erica-Cody – Love Me Like I Do

Once all the above artists had performed their songs live, a panel of four juries announced their allocated points to each artist. This was shortly followed by the televote which was presented by Brooke Scullion (Ireland representative, Eurovision 2022)

After much anticipation, it was finally revealed that the winner of Eurosong 2024 is Bamie Thug. She will therefore go on to represent Ireland at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden.
