UMK 2024 saw an average of 1,244,000 viewers tuning in.
According to Finnpanel, an average of 1,244,000 viewers tuned into this years edition of UMK on Yle TV1. However, during the show, it is reported that 1.9 million viewers tuned into at least one minute of the show. The live broadcast on Yle Areena accumulated 800,000 views.
UMK 2024 could also be heard on Finnish radio stations Yle Radio Finland, YleX and Yle X3M, and could be watched live on TV3 in Estonia, on TenTv in Spain and on OUTtv in The Netherlands.
This years edition of UMK saw an impressive 224,477 votes, which saw Windows95Man reign triumphant with his entry “No Rules”. Despite finishing last in the jury vote with only 28 points, he topped the televote with 285 points, a clear 282 points more than jury winner and runner-up Sara Siipola who received 203 televotes and 70 jury points.
