ABBA World is set to open its doors in Malmö during this years Eurovision Song Contest.
Fifty years after ABBA brought Sweden their first Eurovision victory with “Waterloo”, ABBA World will be opening it’s doors in Malmö, allowing fans to experience ABBA The Museum, ABBA Voyage, Mamma Mia!, Mamma Mia! The Party and Polar Music International all at once.
ABBA The Museum, which is usually based in Stockholm, offers the chance for fans to not only see ABBAs colourful costumes, gold records and other memorabilia, but also gives fans a chance to feel what it would be like to be onstage with ABBA, to try out the Polar Studio and to test their knowledge in an ABBA quiz, among many other things.
Fans will also have the chance to experience parts of ABBA Voyage, which first opened at the purpose-built ABBA Arena, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London in May 2022, as well as MAMMA MIA!, the hit musical which spawned two hit movies (MAMMA MIA! and MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again.), and Mamma Mia The Party!, a party night with all the best ABBA hits.
The two story, mini exhibition and pop up experience, ABBA World, will be open for just two weeks, between April 29th and May 12th at Södergatan 28. You can sign up here for more information. Tickets go on sale on Friday 22 March at 10:00 CET.
