Switzerland’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Zoë Më, has officially released her entry ‘Voyage’, a poetic and emotional ballad that will be performed on home soil during the Grand Final in Basel on May 17, 2025. As the host nation, Switzerland has a unique opportunity to deliver an unforgettable performance, and ‘Voyage’ promises to bring a deeply personal and intimate moment to the Eurovision stage.

A Musical ‘Voyage’ of Emotions 🌊🎶

‘Voyage’ is a French-language song that combines delicate melodies with introspective, heartfelt lyrics. The song serves as an invitation to approach life with greater humanity, openness, and compassion. Zoë Më’s lyrics reflect a deep sense of poetic storytelling, encouraging listeners to counter hate with love, embrace tenderness, and cherish fleeting moments.

At the heart of the song lies a beautiful metaphor: flowers thrive when they are nurtured, rather than cut. This imagery underlines the song’s message about the power of kindness and human connection, a theme that resonates universally. Zoë Më herself has stated that she wants to bring a moment of peace and reflection to the Eurovision stage, offering a contrast to more high-energy entries that typically dominate the contest.

The song was written and composed by Zoë Më herself, showcasing her talents not only as a performer but also as a storyteller and musician. Her delicate yet expressive vocals paired with the song’s cinematic orchestration create an ethereal atmosphere, making ‘Voyage’ a truly unique addition to this year’s Eurovision lineup.

Who Is Zoë Më? 🌿✨

Zoë Më is an artist deeply connected to both German and French cultures. Born in Basel, she later moved to Germany before settling in Fribourg, Switzerland, in 2009. This multilingual and multicultural background has significantly shaped her music, blending influences from French chanson, poetic pop, and indie music.

Standing 1.80m tall, Zoë Më describes herself as a “little fairy” with a profound connection to nature and artistic expression. Her journey in music started early, as she began writing her own songs at just 10 years old. Over time, she developed a distinctive storytelling approach, which blends deeply personal emotions with rich, poetic imagery.

In 2024, Zoë Më gained widespread recognition after being awarded ‘SRF 3 Best Talent’ and ‘RTS Artiste Radar’, cementing her status as a rising star in the Swiss music industry. Her bilingual EP, Dorienne Gris, allowed her to perform at major festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival and Luzern Live, expanding her reach to a broader audience.

Her selection for Eurovision marks a new milestone in her career, providing her with an international platform to share her artistry with millions.

Switzerland’s Eurovision Comeback? 🇨🇭✨

Switzerland has been a rising force in recent Eurovision years, with Gjon’s Tears securing 3rd place in 2021 and, most notably, Nemo winning Eurovision 2024 with The Code—bringing the contest back to Swiss soil for the first time in 40 years. As the host country, all eyes will be on Switzerland’s entry, and Zoë Më’s poetic ballad ‘Voyage’ could be the perfect follow-up to last year’s innovative and genre-blending victory.

Switzerland last hosted Eurovision in 1989, following Céline Dion’s 1988 win with Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi. Could ‘Voyage’ deliver another back-to-back victory for the Swiss?
