Croatian broadcaster HRT have announced the dates for the much anticipated Eurovision selection for the 2021 on test due to be held in Rotterdam.

The final of Dora will be held in Opatija, and entries to the selection will be open from the 26th October until the 10th December 2020.

Head of the Croatian delegation, Uršula Tolj commented on why the competition is opening so early.

”Excellence is supported” Tolj said, “We will be ready for all scenarios, depending on the measures that will be in force then.  So, from the complete version of the spectacle and everything that goes with Dora: musicians, journalists, managers, audiences… to, in the ‘black’ scenario of an extremely reduced number of participants.  We will, of course, settle all of Dora’s scenarios with epidemiologists and align them with the epidemiological measures they recommend.” She said in regards to the global pandemic.
