Who was the host with the most?!
Over the last decade, we have seen nine nations host the contest, with Sweden hosting twice.
A slew of presenters have graced our screens over the past decade, and each of them have been unique in their own way – but the decision is up to you!
Vote in the poll below:
International TV star!
After Emmelie de Forest’s victory in 2013, the contest landed in Copenhagen for its 2014 edition. It was here that ‘Game of Thrones’ star Pilou Asbæk took a turn at hosting.
A long-time fan of the contest and star of the silver screen Asbæk crowned Conchita Wurst ‘The Queen of Europe’. But was he your favourite host?
Double duty!
No one is more experienced at hosting Eurovision than Swedish icon Petra Mede.
Petra hosted the contest in 2013 and 2016 (alongside Måns Zelmerlöw), both arguably two of the best shows of the past decade. Her hosting duties are widely regarded as some of the most skilled and have cemented her as a Eurovision legend – but is she your favorite?
Winners returning!
It has been a trend over the past decade for winners of the contest to take up hosting duties the following year.
Eldar Gasimov, one-half of Azerbaijan’s first-ever winners, Ell & Nikki, returned to host the 2012 contest in Baku. The ‘Queen of Europe’ Conchita Wurst handled green room duties in Vienna 2015 and Måns Zelmerlöw joined Petra Mede to host in Stockholm 2016, following his victory with ‘Heroes’.
