Bulgaria’s representative for Eurovision 2020 and 2021, Victoria Georgieva, has announced on her social media that she has won the award for Bulgarian Music Ambassador for 2021. She was given the award by BG Radio.
The BG Radio awards, (which is in its 19th edition this year), is run by the radio station itself, and itaims to promote Bulgarian language music and Bulgarian artists.
This years show took place in Kolodrum Hall in Plovdiv, and was hosted by Deo and Poli Genova. Marvin Dietmann worked on the show alongside lighting designer Raphael Demonty and multi-chamber director, Julian Gutierrez.
Victoria is not the only Eurovision star to have won BG Radio awards. In 2017, Poli Genova won Female Artist of The Year whilst Kristian Kostov took home four awards – Male Singer of the Year, Bulgarian Debut, Bulgarian Ambassador and Bulgarian Song of the Year with “Vdigam Level”.
