Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2022 national final entries have been released

The five songs competing in Ukraine's national final for Junior Eurovision 2022 have been released.

Now that the five competing entries have been released, Suspline have opened the online voting round, which accounts for 50% of the overall scores. You can vote here.

The first round of online voting will remain open until 14:00 CET on September 18th. The second part of the voting will commence after all of the acts have performed live during the national final, and will run for 15 minutes.

A total of five acts will be vying to represent Ukraine at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest this December. You can listen to the entries here.

  • Sofia Artemenko and DJ Polinka – “Zamovlyannya”
  • Zlata Dzyunka – “Nezlamna”
  • Elizaveta Petruk – “Pisnya pro Lelechat”
  • Darya Rebrova – “Paporoti kvitka”
  • Diana Stasiuk – “We are the Future”

The other 50% of the overall score will come from a jury panel made up of three members. The Ukrainian public were able to chose the three jury members they wanted from a pool of ten applicants.

The winners were singer/songwriter Khrystyna Solovyy, who received 26% of the votes; singer and vocal coach Myroslava Saliy, who received 19% and artist and television presenter Anzhelika Rudnytska, who reveived 15%.

Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2018 representative, Darina Krasnovetska just missed out on the top three, finishing in 4th place with 10% of the votes.

The Ukrainian national final for Junior Eurovision 2022 will take place on September 18th in Kyiv. The show will be broadcast on Suspilne Kultura, and will also be available to watch online via Facebook and YouTube. The show will be hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko.
